Little A's Blessing

Last Sunday was Mr. Austin's baby blessing!

It was so fun to be able to be there for his special day!

He's definitely loved- he had so much family there to support him. Aaron did an incredible job blessing him! I honestly couldn't believe how powerful and special his blessing was! It sure helps remind me how amazing the priesthood truly is!

Look at that smile- does it not just melt your heart! What a chunk...

This is the typical Austin face... Oh I love him!

The men that were in the circle- Eduardo, Dad, Pops, Dustin, Aaron, Austin, Nate, Dennis, Grandpa Paxman, Bob, and Matt (Michael had to take off to get Mya to bed so he isn't in the photo).

Pops, Austin, Jen and Dad- Grandpa felt pretty cool about getting invited to be in the circle- he asked me if he'd be invited when "Hector" is born (he calls all of his kids, grandkids, and great grandkids by fake names... i.e. my Dad is Henry, my Uncle James is George and apparently my little dude is Hector)

Mom, Jen, and Mr. A

The Gilbert Girls + Austin :) It was so nice to have an excuse to actually put on make up! I'm so glad Jen and Dustin didn't follow through with their threat to make me stay home in bed! It felt so good to just get out for a couple hours!

I'm A Hippo....

Yup- It's official- I am now to the "I feel HUGE" stage. Which is pathetic because I am only 35+ weeks.... (every day counts at this point)

It's looking more and more like Dustin and I will be parents this week- or next at the latest. Kinda crazy! Pretty sure I'm so not old or mature enough to be a mom- but ready or not.... here he comes!

Ignore the nasty appearance- Dustin and I had gone to get Baby's Mattress (in a wheelchair of course... just to clarify for you Jen) and it wore me out. Pathetic but true.... Who would've thought high blood pressure could kick your butt like this :)

My doctor's are absolutely amazing! With how early my symptoms onset nobody thought I'd make it to even 30 weeks, then the goal was 32, then they said if I hit 35 they'd be so happy! So at my 35 week check, needless to say we were all VERY happy! At this point, if any of my symptoms increase, my pressure jumps, or anything is out of the ordinary they'll go ahead and deliver. The last two months of bed rest have been rough, but it'll be so worth it to have a healthy, happy baby. Yes, there is still a chance he could end up in the NICU, but after 35 weeks that chance dropped drastically, so we are VERY grateful!

We're so grateful for my doctors, my amazing mom and sister who have FORCED me to stay down (even when I have fought them on it) and taken great care of me, my niece Erika (who will NOT let me get up... every time I stand up she says "Becca Boo you need to sit down, what can I get for you?"), awesome nurses (including my sister), all my friends at Valley OB (nurses, docs, & my sister included in that) who have watched out for me so well, and for all the thoughts and prayers from family and friends!!! We can't even begin to describe how grateful we are!!!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

Granda Roach'd Be Proud....

Bed Rest has been a KILLER!!!!!

First of all, it's tax season, so I am used to pushing myself like crazy this time of year. And to be stuck laying down all day? It's rough... I feel like a slacker and I feel my self-esteem dropping rapidly.

The other day I had some serious "Cabin Fever"- I thought for sure I was gonna go nuts...

So my mom and sister busted out my Grandma Roach's old wheel chair and we headed to the mall!!

It was so much fun and SUCH a sanity break!!!

We're pretty sure Grandma got a kick out of it in Heaven. For you Bingham's, can't you just imagine her saying "For Heck's Sake" :)

Cherishing Every Moment...

... With Gramma....

With Mom leaving, it sure makes us cherish every little moment!
Landon and Austin cuddling with Gramma

Austin pretty much goes into a coma every time my mom burps him like this- he LOVES it... I just love the look on his face.... he loves his Gramma

Love This Face

The other day Mom and I had made ourselves a Carnation Instant Breakfast- I love them!

Right then Mya walked in and she wanted some "Mulk" so we we gave her a bit....

Clearly she LOVED it

Showered With Love....

I have the best families ever!!!

Two weeks ago my mom, sister, and sister-in-law threw me a baby shower for the Gilberts/Binghams/friends, and the next week all my aunts on Dustin's side threw me a shower for the Huffs/Davies! It was so fun- and such a good break from laying in bed!

I, of course, didn't take any pictures... but Jen took some of the Gilbert/Bingham so I stole some from her blog :)The Invite

The Spread- we did Chicken Salad Croissants, Fresh Fruit, and Mini Cupcakes... so yummy!

As my mom said- she wanted a picture of "Her Girls". Chelsy, Jen, Erika, and I.

Mom made us all cry RIGHT before everybody started showing up.... We were all in getting everything ready and she started crying and goes, "I am REALLY gonna miss My Girls!" And of course, we all broke down! I'm so grateful for Chels and Jen though- I am really gonna need their guidance on how to be a mom now that my mom's up and going to Korea :)

I like this picture better.... My belly looks smaller! Although I don't think that's too bad for being 33 weeks along :) YAY for a long torso!

Mom wanted this picture- These are my Bingham cousins that came- the ones sitting down are all my Aunt Cilla's daughter/daughters in law. Cilla's on a mission in Romania- but her cute girls still all came! Then my cousin Rachelle is the one standing. She has been such a huge support during this pregnancy- she suffered from preeclampsia and delivered her little girl incredibly early! It's a miracle they both survived, but watching them has helped me feel so much peace during this pregnancy! It is always fun to have the Bingham Girls together! We missed those who couldn't come- dang the snow :)

Oh The Joys....

Since I've been on bed rest, I have been helping my mom get ready for their mission by scanning in all of our old pictures.... Let's just say we've found some fun ones! I will be posting a TON of random pictures in the next little bit...

But for today I thought I'd start with something more recent. When cleaning off my dad's old memory cards I came across these photos from the day I went through the temple.... I definitely wanted to be able to have these in my "memory bank" aka my blog.
The Gilbert family... It's pretty cool to be able to hang out with your whole family in the Celestial Room! That was a great experience!
